Best burgers! I can't eat another burger anywhere else..just doesn't compare. Double Bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions is the way to go and they have the best ranch.. French fries are legit! I've had them delivered and eaten in house. Delicious! Friendly staff and no confusing menus just simple.

New burger place in Layton. The family and I were up here so we had to try it I am a sucker for a good burger. I have to admit was a good ole fashioned burger. Good quality meat, a little lean for me, but good just the same, had a very fresh bun. To bring it all home, were the French fries. Great taste and slight crunch, takes a good fry cook to pull that off.

Pretty good food at the Patty Shack. We stopped here with some work friends during lunch and we were not disappointed. There is a pretty competitive burger market in the area and this place can compete. While it is not my favorite, it may check all of the boxes for someone and has the potential to be their favorite. The restaurant was clean and service was fast. I would not hesitate to come back.

Gave me some 5 Guys vibes (fresh hamburger patties, wrapped in foil). Just a very unassuming corner next to Maverik. Now the food….the single bacon cheeseburger I ordered was fantastic! As you can see in the pictures, the “bed” of bacon, crispy and flavorful. The fries are what the owner claims sets their business apart from others. They are coated to make them crispy and designed to stay that way until you get them (more for the delivery crowd). They kind of remind me of Tony Burger fries or Iggy’s Sports Grill. It’s reasonably priced, but your combo doesn’t include a beverage. I just brought my own. They are about a block farther off the freeway than most of the other restaurants, but I think you will be happy you were a bit more patient looking for a good spot to eat. The burger/fry combo was plenty to eat. This is the 2nd location. Their first location opened in 2023 in Taylorsville. Give them a try!!!

The ambiance could still use a little fine tuning, but let me tell you what: I hate over-hyped burger places. People say, "It's _SO_ good!" But then it's mediocre! 😡 Usually it's bland and greasy. Sad face!!! Thankfully the Patty Shack is actually the real deal. The fries can be with or without sauce and they're really good. Great texture!!! The patties themselves sold me on the burger right away. A lot of flavor and substance and I love the frilly (I don't know the word) edges. Definitely worth a try and a very safe bet if you're not sure. They also have options for bacon and pastrami on the burgers.

My new favorite burger joint. First of AMAZING fries. Crispy and just the right about of seasoning and they are different from anything else out there. The burgers are perfect, simple, flavorful and cooked just right. Great price as well. Two meals was just a few bills over$20. Love it!!!

I have never had a bad burger and fries here! Patty shack is the only burger joint I will travel for! Delicious crispy fries and the bacon cheeseburger loaded up with pickles and onions are my go to!

Patty Shack really impressed me. The food was pretty cheap and the portions were large. Everything came out very quickly and was fresh-tasting while also not being too greasy. The topping options are nice but the real star of the show for us was the fries, they were great, even in a to-go order. I recommend a visit.

If you want a big tasty, juicy burger, come here. Excellent taste and quality. This will now be my spot when I want a nice burger in Layton. Fries also excellent, even without sauce. Everything was fresh. Ordering process was quick and easy. Didn't wait long at all. Check it out.

We had bacon cheeseburgers oh so good! The fries were crispy cooked perfectly and the no bake chocolate cookie was delicious. Our new favorite hamburger place! We will be back.
